Best Electric Razors & Shavers to buy in 2012
11th Apr 2012 | 13:35

Another shower-ready shaver, this wasn’t as comfortable as the Philips but cut closer. It went through three-day stubble pretty smoothly, four-day required a bit more pressure. The only slight irritation, apart from price, is the size of the trimmer – a little big to sculpt precisely.
Price: £150

A mix of standard razor and electric shaver, this does a fine job for the price. Tiny electrical pulses bring hair away from the face for a more gliding action. You’ll have to replace the blades regularly, but it’s a great mix of trad and future.
Price: £16

This is premium grade in terms of both build and price. A real beast of a machine it uses five blades and an arcing head to get super close without much effort. It’s comfortable to grip and comes with a self-cleaning and charging system.
Price: £331
