Quad-core tablet coming in November

Asus has unveiled their next tablet the Asus Transformer Prime, a 8.6mm tablet with keyboard attachment, echoing its previous sibling the original Asus EeePad Transformer.

Revealed at AsiaD the Transformer Prime will boast some mightily impressive specs such as a Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 10-inch display, mini-HDMI port and an incredible 14.5 hour battery life.

At just 8.3mm thin (we presume without the dock) it's incredibly thin but as you can see from the teaser video below it's also taken design cues straight from the new Asus Zenbook with brushed aluminium styling and a real premium look about it.

Most notably is not only the quad-core processor but that the Prime will also be running Ice Cream Sandwich straight out of the box prompting the suggestion that this could be the first Ice Cream Sandwich tablet to appear after the Motorola Xoom 2 failed to make a showing, it'll be officially unveiled on November 7.
