A list of games available on the upcoming Nintendo Wii U leaks online

Assassin’s Creed, Splinter Cell 5, Batman: Arkham City, Darksiders II, and Ninja Gaiden 3 will all be available for the upcoming Nintendo Wii U, according to a leaked screenshot.

The console is expected to be released in December alongside the rumoured Sony PS4 and Xbox 720.

The news comes courtesy of a screen snap believed to be taken from Blockbuster’s internal system, however, there’s no way in determining whether it’s actually real.

Nonetheless, we’re intrigued. The Wii U’s successor, the Nintendo Wii, was an amazing console and has done wonders for gaming, appealing to both men and women alike.

However, it didn’t have much to offer in terms of action-packed mainstream titles, but with an improved graphics card, this won't be the case with the upcoming Wii U.

The list of games listed in the report are: Aliens Colonial Marines, Darksiders II, Assassin’s Creed, Batman: Arkham City, Dirt 3, Monsters Party, New Super Marios Mii, Ninja Gaiden 3, Just Dance 4, Shield Pose, Splinter Cell 6.

Also in the mix are: Killer Freaks From Outer Space, Marvel Super Heroes, Pikmin, Rabbids Party Land, Raving Rabbids, Metro Last Light,  Rayman Legends, Sports Connection, Tekken, Your Shape 2013, Zombie, Formula One: All Stars, Game Party and Ghost Recon Online.

Nintendo Wii U: Rumours

The Nintendo Wii U was originally unveiled at Microsoft’s E3 conference last year, however, the console is still in development and could look entirely unlike the device in its current form.

The Wii U’s unique touchpad controller is expected to sport a pair of wireless Bluetooth 3-aixs motion controllers, two circular analogue pads and d-pad controllers, as well as a gorgeous 6.2 inch screen which users can view images and videos on.

An official release date is yet to be announced for the console but commentators believe Nintendo will announce it – as well as the upgraded console – at the upcoming E3 conference in June.
