Sony PS Vita Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified release detailed

Retailer Walmart prematurely lists upcoming COD Vita title confirming Spec Ops missions

Whilst the gaming world eagerly awaits the November 13th Call of Duty: Blacks Ops 2 release date, retail giant Walmart has leaked details on the franchise’s PS Vita bound offer, Black Ops: Declassified.

Despite publisher Activision remaining cagey around the upcoming Call of Duty for Vita launch during its recent E3 2012 showcase, the first Black Ops: Declassified launch details have seeped out onto the web with Spec Ops and multiplayer modes detailed.

"Before the future could be won, history had to be written,” Walmart’s online listing of the upcoming portable Call of Duty offering read. “Exposing that story exclusively on PlayStation Vita, Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified explores original fiction in the Call of Duty Black Ops universe with an all-new campaign of Special Ops missions. Optimized for gamers on-the-go, Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified delivers the most intense handheld Call of Duty experience to date, including both Special Ops Story mode and Multiplayer combat tailored for the PS Vita."

Although having quickly removed its prematurely listed COD Black Ops: Declassified offer, Walmart briefly touted the title as sporting a rather unlikely December 31st release date and a more than possible $49.69 (£32) price tag.
